This year I set out to get 30 different communities from the BC Southern Interior involved with the 2022 Gambling Awareness Week. When I first started, I had the idea to get 30 different municipalities or bands involved, and although I didn't quite succeed in my original plan, I found support and interest from a variety of other organizations and community services.

Over a three-day period, I drove around from community to community from Merritt to Revelstoke and everywhere in between! I spoke to different community organizations and municipal offices and got a lot of interest in Gambling Awareness.
I am happy to announce that this year we got engagement and participation from a municipality or community service in 24 different communities! Below is a breakdown of which community or organization has agreed to share our resources
